Dressing stone for sharpening stone

Sharpening on a whetstone is the best way to maintain your blades. Nothing better has been found for thousands of years. But this is only useful if the stone is flat. Every stone will become hollow over time, depending on the quality of its binders, because when sharpening, the entire surface of the stone is not used systematically, some parts are less stressed than others.

The TG1804 dressing stone has been designed to be easy and intuitive to use like a computer mouse. The dressing stone is equipped with interchangeable diamond plates. One of these plates has a grit of #200 for the first pass and the other one has a grit of #360 for smoothing the surface of the stone. The small Nagura stones that are sometimes supplied with the stones are only in a coarse grit that leaves marks, which is not as effective as this tool which is the best of its kind.
