Japanese knife Santoku Haiku Blue Carbon
The Haiku Blue Carbon collection sits between the Haiku Kurouchi range and the Ryoma Sakamoto range, offering a unique combination. It shares the same steel as the Kurouchi range, but with a collaborative design involving several craftsmen rather than one dedicated to each item.
The knives in this collection feature a shinobi ("D shape") handle, specifically designed for right-handed use, made from burnt chestnut. For left-handed people, it is recommended to turn to the Kurouchi range which is ambidextrous. The handles are cemented (closed), offering a solid and comfortable grip.
Made in Sakai, these knives are the result of exceptional craftsmanship. The current range includes four commonly used models, offering a diverse selection to meet the needs of the cooking enthusiast.
- Steel: Aoko blue Steel 1.2%
- Handle: Shinobi handle ("D shape")
- Sharpening: Ambidextrous V, 15° angle each side
