Japanese knife Nakiri Haiku Blue Carbon
The Haiku Blue Carbon series sits between the Haiku Kurouchi range and the Ryoma Sakamoto range, offering a unique approach. It uses the same steel as the Kurouchi range, but with a collaborative design involving several craftsmen rather than one dedicated to each item.
The knives in this series have a shinobi ("D shape") handle in burnt chestnut, specially designed for right-handers. Left-handed people are invited to turn to the Kurouchi range which is ambidextrous. The handles are cemented (closed), offering increased robustness.
This range currently offers four commonly used models, providing a limited but versatile selection. Each model embodies excellence in craftsmanship and refined aesthetics for lovers of quality knives.
- Steel: Aoko blue Steel 1.2%
- Handle: Shinobi handle ("D shape")
- Sharpening: Ambidextrous V, 15° angle each side
