This short range offers excellent quality for an entry level black forged blade compared to more carburized blades like those in the Haiku Kurouchi range, top of the range of black forged knives. The knives are made in the traditional way on the blades to the end of the untreated light wood handle.

The Santoku knife is the most versatile blade in the kitchen. It is primarily oriented towards cutting vegetables than the Chef's knife which is also a very versatile blade. Often shorter than the Chef blade, the Santoku knife is thin with a rounded tip that will be used in 90% of kitchen tasks on meat, fish, fruits and vegetables naturally.

Each blade is carefully crafted by experienced knifemakers, who imbue each knife with their expertise, resulting in a strong sense of identity. Please note that the blades are sensitive to oxidation.
